What if my wrist is in between sizes?

If your wrist is in-between sizes, order the next larger size  . (For example: My tight wrist measurement is equal to 7 ¼”, so I would order a 7.5")

Which cord is which?

The inside cord is going to be the predominate color in the bracelet. The edge cord will border the inside cord. And lastly, the optional center line is woven down the middle of the inside cord.

 What do I do when I can’t find my size on the drop box?
 

 If your size is not available do not worry! We can make any size you need. All we ask you to do is first place an order, then send customerservice@survivalstraps.com an email with the order # and size change. Please note “Order Change” in the subject field of the email. We will manually make this change for you to build you a better fitting strap.

 Can I get the Strap wet?

The first time the Strap gets wet, it will shrink about ¼”. It will not continue to shrink every time the Strap is submerged in water. Paracord is very durable material so feel free to swim, shower, etc. with your Survival Strap on if you have that ¼” to spare the first time it gets wet.

 Can I clean my Survival Strap? 

Yes, you can definitely clean your Survival Strap. Like any material, over time it will absorb the natural oils of your body as well as sweat. If you haven't gotten it wet yet, keep in mind that it will shrink about ¼” the first time it gets wet.

You can soak the bracelet in warm soapy water while scrubbing it with a toothbrush. Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent. Then rinse well with clean water and let air-dry. We do not recommend putting your Survival Strap in the dryer.

 Does the watch strap come with the watch itself?

 No. We provide just the watch strap, we do not provide the watch itself.

 Will my watch fit a Survival Strap watch strap?

  As long as your watch face has detachable pins, we can make a Strap to fit it. We send you the watch strap along with instructions on how to install the watch face. Our watch straps fit larger style, dive watches the best. Some popular brands we recommend are Casio, Timex, Luminox and Suunto.

 How do you deploy my Survival Bracelet if I need to use it in an emergency?

 Every product comes with an Owner’s Manual that provides instructions on how to deploy the Straps. On the underside of the bracelet (belt, watch strap, rifle sling, collar, etc.) there are two ends of cord woven in place. You can pull these ends out from the loops holding them and begin to unravel the product one weave at a time.

 How long will it take to receive my order?

How do I make a change to my order after the order has been placed? 

We typically start processing your order the same or next business day, depending on what time the order was placed. Please email customerservice@survivalstraps.com right away with any changes that need to be made and we will do our best to catch it before it goes out the door.

Enter “ORDER CHANGE” in the subject field of the email and be sure to include the name the order was placed under, order number, and change that needs to be made.

When sending a soldier care package, what do I enter for the shipping address?

 If you are sending the package to a specific soldier please enter the soldier’s address in the text boxes provided when you first select the care package product. If you wish for the care package to be donated to a random soldier you will leave these boxes blank.

Once you get to checkout enter your address in both the billing and shipping fields. Don’t worry, it will not be sent to you. We hand address the labels for our care packages and it will either be sent to your soldier at the address you previously specified, or it will be sent with the batch going to our next unit.
